The Web Guys does not offer redundant or mirrored backups. The Web Guys will run courtesy backups at our discretion. Any backups that The Web Guys runs are in addition to our Terms of Service and are not guaranteed. Customers are encouraged to run periodic backups through the provided cPanel. The Web Guys reccomends that you store such backups off site on your local sysetm. Each Client is responsible for their own backup and backup policies. TWG is not responsible for keeping backups of client files. If you need help creating an account backup; please see our article on How do I use the Backup utility?
*Important: The Web Guys assumes no responsibility for failed backups, lost data, or data integrity. The Web Guys is unable to provide copies or create automatic backups for sites above 1 gigabytes in size. Note: Before you think of leaving us or not joining because of our backups policy, please note that this is standard web host policy and almost every hosting company will have it in place, unless you specifically purchase a backup plan. the reason for this is legal not laziness.
